The Global Carbon Pricing Challenge (GCPC) actively engages in various events throughout the year, such as the COP, industry-specific events, and the IETA Summit series.
We will provide updates on our latest events, including registration information, on this page. When applicable, we will also share recordings and downloads of past events.
Online Workshop: Expanding Carbon Pricing to New Sectors
Governments often start by implementing carbon pricing policies in one or a few specific sectors. After successful experiences, numerous jurisdictions have expanded their carbon pricing policies to additional sectors. Others are currently considering the expansion of their policies. This process requires careful consideration since some sectors are more challenging to address than others. This online workshop focuses on the expansion of carbon pricing to new sectors such as transport, buildings, and agriculture. GCPC Partners and affiliated organisations share their experiences and explore good practices.
